Open Climate Database
This platform prompt related to the main database that should be used for the Open Climate Platform
This prompt is currently being updated alongside the final alpha release of the Platform: expect a full release by September 2020. In the meantime, read below and take on tasks if you have experience in climate data and database management

Some tasks might include:
  • Examine existing data aggregators for climate related data and emissions (CDP, Carbonn, NAZCA, Global Covenant of Mayors, We Are Still In, US Climate Alliance states etc.) to determine reported levels, and test consensus filters on the Open Climate Portal by spot-checking these.
  • Find climate data that may be missing from the database and upload, then verify that data through the Open Climate Portal.
